Hen Parties an Óir

20160513_191912On Friday the 13th May I had the pleasure of pampering a hen party over at the lodges at Waterford Castle. The Bride-to-be and her three closest friends arrived to Waterford the night before the hen festivities were to really kick off and Salon an Óir was there to provide an evening of relaxation, as well as beautifying the nails ahead of the partying.

On arrival the girls were very relaxed and ordering a take away. I set up 3 pamper stations; a massage bed in a bedroom upstairs, a pedicure bowl with exfoliant, a mask and heated booties in the sitting room and a manicure station at the kitchen table.

20160513_194437Before the girls got too excited and chatty I whisked the bride-to-be away for a relaxing PHYT’S massage. The room was dark and cosy and soft music played in the background. We couldn’t hear a sound from the girls downstairs and the bride-to-be really relaxed. I finished the massage with the sound of tingsha bells and tiptoed out of the room to begin manicures on the other girls.

I also set up a DIY pedicure station for the girls to use at their own leisure and this was a hit. The girls soaked, exfoliated and applied mask to their feet as well as popping on heated booties. They took turns and helped each other out and had a bit of a giggle in the process.20160513_194237-01

It was a fun evening of girly chats and pampering that I thoroughly enjoyed, just as much as they did, and I look forward to heading back to the lodges at Waterford Castle for the next pamper hen party at the end of the month.

  1. Hi there

Just wondering do you still offer this kind of a service – a pamper package for a hen party? If so what would the price be? Thanks!!!
